Praxis is the online publication of The McCarthy Institute at Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. The McCarthy Institute sponsors both student and faculty research projects, guiding them from initial ideation through to publication in peer-reviewed law journals and on Praxis.
MISSION
Praxis strives to encourage, facilitate, and showcase original student scholarship in intellectual property practice and law. It offers McCarthy Fellows, who are current law students at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, the opportunity to engage with timely, multidisciplinary intellectual property topics and publish work.
HISTORY
In 2021, the McCarthy Institute joined Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in Phoenix, Arizona. The McCarthy Institute is named after J. Thomas McCarthy, the McCarthy Institute’s Founding Director and globally recognized author of multi-volume treatise Trademark and Unfair Competition Law, which has been cited in over 6,000 judicial opinions.
ADMISSION AND PRODUCTION
